Client portal terms of use
Dual Energy Sàrl, Rue du Chêne 24, 1020 Renens, Switzerland.
Last updated: 27 October 2026.
1. Scope and acceptance
These terms apply to the Dual Energy client portal at portal.dualenergy.ch (the “Portal”), run by Dual Energy Sàrl (“Dual Energy”, “we”). By signing in or accepting the Microsoft consent screen, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Portal.
The Portal is for people invited by a Dual Energy client (your organisation, the “Client”). If Dual Energy and the Client have a contract or an accepted offer, these terms sit alongside it. If the two conflict, the contract or offer prevails.
2. Your access
Your access is personal and cannot be passed on. We grant it to you by name, and we can limit it to certain dashboards or to a viewing period. Please:
- sign in only with your own account and keep your credentials safe;
- tell us at info@dualenergy.ch as soon as you suspect someone else used your access.
We may suspend or remove access at any time, for example when the engagement or the viewing period ends, when you leave the Client’s organisation, or if these terms are broken.
3. Confidentiality and permitted use
The dashboards and everything in them are confidential. You may use them only for your organisation’s internal purposes related to the project they were made for. You must not:
- share them, or screenshots or extracts of them, outside the Client’s organisation without our written consent;
- copy the Portal at scale (for example by scraping), reverse engineer it, or disturb its operation;
- try to reach data that is not yours, or try to get around the Portal’s access controls.
Each client sees only its own data. If you ever see something that does not look like yours, stop and tell us immediately.
4. Content and intellectual property
Dual Energy keeps all rights in the Portal, its models, methods, software and presentation. The Client keeps its rights in the data it gave us. The Client may use the results shown in the Portal as set out in its contract with us; without such a contract, only for its internal purposes.
5. Nature of the results
The data, analyses, simulations and charts in the Portal are provided only to support the Client’s own decision-making. They are estimates based on the available data and on assumptions, and they are not advice or guarantees of future performance, yield or savings. All decisions taken on the basis of them are the Client’s own responsibility.
6. Availability
The Portal is provided “as is”. We may change, improve or remove features (including the question assistant), and we may take it offline for maintenance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability unless a contract says so.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by Swiss law, Dual Energy is not liable for the data and results provided in the Portal, for decisions taken on the basis of them, or for any loss arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the Portal, including indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Privacy
We handle personal data as described in our privacy policy: https://www.dualenergy.ch/privacy-policy
9. Changes, governing law and jurisdiction
We may update these terms. The current version is always at https://www.dualenergy.ch/client-portal-terms, with its date. If you keep using the Portal after a change, you accept the new version.
These terms are governed by Swiss law. The courts of Lausanne, Switzerland, have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
